He will absolutely take money from your account without notifying you. He did not educate me about my case AT ALL. I had to provide him with a debit card for an initial payment to take my case, despite my MANY efforts to receive an invoice and amounts for the "services" being provided, it took me reporting him to my bank and changing my card information (so he could no longer take my money). After this, he got angry and petty towards me, stopped answering my texts and calls about my case and on top of this- DIDN'T INFORM ME NOR SHOW UP TO MY TRIAL THAT I WAITED MONTHS FOR!!!!!!
I ended up losing my case because this man didn't even tell me the date of my trial and because I didn't know, I didn't show up and the court ruled against me and I lost my case. In the beginning of him taking my case, I had asked him if we could please file for a limited license to allow me just to get to work and back home (as I am a healthcare worker and was working all throughout the pandemic), this was my first ticket, he replied to me that "it doesn't work that way." After this case was lost and I contacted another attorney, they told me that the paperwork for a limited license should have been the FIRST thing any attorney would have done to help their client.
Chauncey Henry neglected me as a client, stole thousands of dollars from me and then ran away with it without helping me AT ALL. He took an oath and completely goes against it.
He is a ambulance Chase lawyer would not trust he is a wolf in sheep's clothing this lawyer took an oath and broke that oath and trust with his clients he's a crook a con artist he makes other lawyers look bad who are Afro-American

BEWARE!! I have been trying to get a refund for some time, but ended up posting my 1st review on 10/19 . I was then coincidentally able to actually have a conversation with Henry on 10/20. He agreed to give me a (partial) refund IF I REMOVED MY REVIEW, which I did the same day, he was then supposed to give me access to my invoice justifying the partial instead of the full refund. Well since then, he has been running me around, and really taking me for an idiot. None of his multiple appointments and promises were respected. Every time he claims to be too busy, and not back at his office, since 10/20 even though he is the one choosing the dates and times??? How hard is it to give me a simple invoice? I even offered to come get it in person since apparently it is a hassle for him to upload a simple document. On 11/13 he gave me an appointment and for the umpteenth time, he never called me and I am now blocked. I was able to reach him anyway because I have too many phone numbers for him to block them all, and he made empty promises again, and hung up on me. Then goes on "mycase" and add a meeting event for tofay 11/16 at 6:30pm. Needless to say I was stood up AGAIN. Like sir, I don't care that you are with your family (his favorite excuse). I have a family who is suffering because you decided to take advantage of a desperate inmigrant. Well I am not there anymore, and legal or not, we have rights in Ny. I had actually spoken to a lawyer who explained to me exactly what I was entilted to, but decided to give Henry another chance to prove his honesty. Complete waste of time.

1st Review: WARNING!!! Do not give them your money! My sister contacted Henry in 2021 for her immigration matters, he told her it is possible to take her case. He was CONSTANTLY calling her, pressuring her for money so he could start working on her case. She paid him a total of $3500, and as soon as he got this sum, he suddenly became "busy". I had advised her against giving him money, but she was a little desperate. Once he got the money, she could not get him on the phone, and as a worried immigrant in NYC, she just gave up thinking she just lost her money. This year, 2023, I inquired about how the process finally went and if he made himself available, she let me know she never heard from him again. Well I was absolutely revolted because I hate con artists, so we started trying to get her money back. She called him back maybe 2 months or so ago. He stated he will not give her all her money, and that he did some work for her, but it will see how much he can give her back, which we were fine with. He also stated that he charged her for phone calls, and was supposed to send proof of the process he started for her. I myself worked as a Legal Assistant, and now as a HR Manager, so I am very familiar with which proof he needs to send when it comes to immigration. Well, since that initial call he has been dodging all her calls, or when he picks up, it is to say I call you back (never happens). We have also left multiple messages at his office that never got returned. Mr. Henry it is very disgusting of you to try to take advantage of a person because of their immigration status. The beauty of NY, is that we have rights regardless of it, and we also have the means to sue you. This is a grave breach of trust, and I am sure we are not the only ones you took advantage of. One voice may not be heard, but many can. It is not the end of this issue. The only reason I am leaving this review is because there is no communication, so we are now fed up. This is not right, and quite surprising that you are ready to put your "good" name in jeopardy for $3500. I will leave reviews on all platforms including LinkedIn until you do the right thing. You don't know the sacrifices that were made for this money.
