Finding matching lawyer profiles…
ExploreLawyers is an independent U.S. lawyer directory and legal-information publisher. Since 2016, we have published lawyer profiles, practice-area and location directories, legal-market statistics, and source-grounded legal explainers.
ExploreLawyers began in 2016. For more than 10 years, we have developed and published resources for people researching lawyers, legal services and the U.S. legal market. Our current work brings that experience into a structured directory and a source-led information service.
We publish lawyer and law-firm profiles, practice-area and location directories, legal-market statistics, and editorial explainers. Profiles help visitors inspect professional information; statistics show the context and definitions behind local data; explainers point readers to the questions and primary sources that matter.
A directory listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee that a lawyer is right for a particular matter. Visitors should confirm time-sensitive details with the relevant licensing authority, lawyer, court or agency.
Our Legal Statistics section brings together lawyer wage and employment estimates, law-office business data, local economic context and bankruptcy filings. Every measure is tied to its source, reporting period and published geography.
Explore Legal Statistics · Official sources: BLS OEWS, Census CBP, Census ACS, and U.S. Courts F-5A.
ExploreLawyers is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Professional information can change; legal rules and procedures can change as well. We identify source context and explain important statistical limits so visitors can verify details with the responsible authority before relying on them.
Each statistic identifies its source, data year or reporting period, and geography. Derived measures are labeled and explained beside the data.
Your lawyer or law-firm listing can be managed through Look4Lawyer, the source directory for some basic profile information. Find the matching listing below, then use the profile-management options available to authorized users. Details independently sourced by ExploreLawyers are maintained separately.
Review your name, office location, current firm, website, contact information and areas of practice. Check your state's licensing records separately.
Basic source fields may update through Look4Lawyer. Other information may be included when supported by cited sources, including attorney or firm websites. A website source alone does not confirm an attorney's current license status.
Profile changes are not processed through our form. If you cannot access your source listing, use Look4Lawyer's own account and profile-management options.
Need help with the ExploreLawyers website, or have a professional partnership proposal? Choose the appropriate route below. Requests to edit lawyer or law-firm profiles must go through the linked source directory instead of this form.
Use the form for general website questions and collaboration proposals. Do not include sensitive legal case details.
This Privacy Policy describes, at a general level, how ExploreLawyers may handle information when you use the site. The exact data involved depends on which features you use.
We may use information to provide and secure the site, operate requested features, prevent abuse, maintain records, respond to requests, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We try to collect and retain only information reasonably connected to those purposes.
If you use our form, we collect the name, email address, reason and message you provide, along with limited security metadata for spam prevention. We use this information to process your inquiry, respond where appropriate and maintain site security. Messages are stored in restricted-access server-side records; authorized site operators may review them. Do not submit privileged or sensitive legal case details.
ExploreLawyers may use cookies or comparable browser storage for functions that need continuity, security or user-specific state. If analytics, advertising or other technologies requiring additional notice or choice are enabled, the disclosures and controls required by applicable law should apply to those technologies.
Information may be disclosed to service providers that help operate the site, when reasonably necessary for security or fraud prevention, in connection with a lawful business transition, or when required or permitted by law. Third-party websites reached through outbound links operate under their own privacy practices.
Depending on where you live, the law that applies, and whether ExploreLawyers meets the relevant statutory thresholds, you may have rights concerning personal information. These can include rights to request access, correction, deletion or portability, and in some jurisdictions rights to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling, or to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Applicable exceptions and identity-verification requirements may apply.
California law, for example, provides qualifying consumers with specific rights and requires covered businesses to give disclosures about collection and privacy practices. Other U.S. states use different definitions, thresholds and procedures. Nothing in this policy is intended to reduce a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for security and recordkeeping, or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle, but no Internet service can promise absolute security.

ExploreLawyers is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service, technology or law changes. The version presented on the site should be treated as the current posted policy.
Privacy obligations vary by state and by the actual technologies and data practices in use. This policy is written conservatively and should be reviewed whenever tracking, advertising, messaging, account or data-sharing features materially change.
These Terms of Use govern access to ExploreLawyers.com. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to understand the limits described below.
ExploreLawyers provides lawyer-directory information, legal-market information and general educational/editorial content. ExploreLawyers is not a law firm, does not represent users, and does not provide individualized legal advice. Use of the site does not create an attorney-client relationship with ExploreLawyers or with any lawyer whose profile appears here.
A listing, profile, rating, review, statistic, article, ordering or appearance on ExploreLawyers is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee of a lawyer, law firm, service, result or suitability for a particular matter. Users are responsible for independently evaluating a lawyer and, where appropriate, verifying license status and disciplinary or professional information with the relevant licensing authority.
Information is provided from sources and records available to us and may be incomplete, delayed, incorrect or outdated. Contact details, addresses, websites, practice descriptions, employment relationships, licensing information and other profile fields can change without notice. Legal content and statistical information can also become outdated as law, procedure and source data change.
Submitting a form, clicking a contact control, using an email link, or attempting to contact a lawyer through any ExploreLawyers-assisted channel does not guarantee that the message will be delivered, read or answered. Technical failures, spam filtering, outdated contact details or third-party systems can prevent delivery.
Do not rely on ExploreLawyers for an urgent filing, statute-of-limitations issue, court deadline, emergency or other time-sensitive legal matter. If you need to reach a lawyer, contact that lawyer directly using contact information you independently verify. Do not send confidential, privileged or highly sensitive information until you have confirmed how the intended lawyer wants to receive it and whether an attorney-client relationship exists.
ExploreLawyers may link to lawyer websites, government resources, courts, agencies or other third parties. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, privacy practices or actions.
You may use the site for lawful personal or professional research. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse forms or rating systems, submit unlawful content, impersonate another person, or use automated activity in a way that materially burdens or disrupts the site.
The ExploreLawyers name, site design, original editorial material, software and other original site elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names, profile information, trademarks and linked materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular legal need.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExploreLawyers and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar losses arising from reliance on site content, inability to use the service, failed communications, third-party conduct or decisions made using directory information. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so these provisions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may modify the service and these Terms as the project evolves. Mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
ExploreLawyers is designed to help people find and understand information. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer who knows the facts of a specific matter.
Nothing on ExploreLawyers constitutes legal advice. Reading an article, searching the directory, viewing a profile, using a statistic, submitting a form or attempting to contact a lawyer does not create an attorney-client relationship with ExploreLawyers and does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship with a listed lawyer.
Law, court procedure, filing requirements and deadlines can change and can differ by jurisdiction. Directory data can also become stale. Before relying on important information, verify it with the relevant lawyer, court, government agency, bar or licensing authority, or another appropriate primary source.
We do not guarantee that a profile is complete, current or free of errors. Phone numbers, email addresses, websites, office locations, practice areas, employment information and license-related fields may change without immediate notice. A listed profile does not mean that the lawyer is available, accepting new clients, qualified for a particular matter, or endorsed by ExploreLawyers.
Our form is intended for website questions and business collaboration, not legal representation, confidential legal advice, contacting a listed attorney or requesting profile edits. Profile management starts from the lawyer or law firm's public listing using Manage profile.
If ExploreLawyers displays or facilitates a contact method, we cannot guarantee delivery to the intended lawyer or law firm. A message may be blocked, delayed, sent to an outdated destination, filtered as spam or simply not answered. For an important or time-sensitive matter, independently verify the lawyer’s current contact information and contact the lawyer directly.
Do not assume that information sent through a website form, ordinary email or another general contact mechanism is confidential or privileged. Before sending sensitive facts, documents, medical information, financial data, immigration information, criminal-case details or other confidential material, confirm directly with the lawyer how the information should be transmitted and whether the lawyer has agreed to represent you.
Ratings, reviews, historical rating data, statistical comparisons and editorial content are informational signals only. They do not guarantee competence, quality, fees, availability or any legal outcome. Statistical data may be based on government or other source datasets that are published on different schedules and can be revised.
Do not use ExploreLawyers as the sole method for handling an emergency, court date, filing deadline, appeal period, statute of limitations or other deadline-sensitive matter. When timing matters, obtain current information directly from the relevant court, agency or qualified lawyer.
Use ExploreLawyers as a research and discovery tool. For a decision that depends on your facts, your jurisdiction or a deadline, verify the information with an appropriate primary source or qualified lawyer.
