What do you do?

Location: Missouri, St. Louis  |  Law type: Family law attorneys

What would someone do in the event you lose a case or custody that FACT you NEVER should have fact fact fact even when evidence proving how the ex was a felon for child abuse, had anger issues, mentally and emotionally abusive, recordings of not being stable or providing a stable environment for the child in which you also raised with no help from in any any way for 12 TWELVE years and only negative on myself is one time ( which I also have recorded) my ex drug testing me and even the type of test he'd make sure I had to take to fail (hair) so I would lose all bc I was honest about having done and regretted and been open to get help of some sort about using a certain drug. Very short time I had done it for. Everyone knew bc I admitted from day 1 what drug I did and when even.. and it being2 months ago even a hair test I would fail. I tested positive on my hair test. I've never had any serious tickets other than speeding. Never one bad thing other than this one time failed drug test in my life... Someone please tell me how I still lose custody to that monster. My daughter has even made it very clear why and where she wants to be(with me) and the urgency of her not being SAFE.. I still lose. I was advised to have my parents hire a lawyer to be a third party, for sure id get her back... Still lose. Find out thru my idiot ex himself (details are painful) tells me his lawyer and the lawyer my parents hired are very good friends. With rock solid evidence, recordings.. etc that any stranger could look at if you seriously needed anymore negative shit on my ex to just know where the child should be hands down he would lose. How does it happen that somehow he doesnt. He wins. I get still one fucking day supervised visitation with my daughter he never wanted ANYTHING to do with in 12 years. How does she get his case to win over mine?? Me-one time taken failed drug test, never offered to even retest me now.. against me that's IT and his list .. anger, unstable, never wanted her, felon for beating the shit out of his newborn son and the state taking away all his rights, that he is not to ever have custody of any child ever again, proof of abuse mentally and emotionally my child, literally everything BUT any physical bruises or marks or hospital stays from abuse and he still wins??????? How does a judge side with him? How can anyone think for a minute I'm unsafer or worse to be around then him???!!!! What do u do when u feel like the lawyers and or the judge are incahoots or know eachother whatever and that's why they won. Someone please tell me. Is this not absurd????!!! Why does nobody care that my daughters safety, happiness everything is in serious danger and she has been in his care my rights stripped completely now since June 30th 2018????? I have got to save her!! I'm broke after 6 months of 2 lawyer fees now. $250 drug test... I need help bc my city, the lawyers I paid to do me justice and for God sake save an inncocent child have absolutely failed me?? Please tell me what I do now? Give up on my child when she's begging and crying to me to protect her and do nothing? I can't live with myself. Email at bc I trust noone anymore.
