My husband had his ex wife come and stay with us. She came and started as she always did to order me around and scream at me. She took over the house and let her untrained house dog in the home. She brought her 30 year old mentally ill son with her. He has a history of violence so when the ex wife and I were fighting I walked away and got my husband. The next morning I felt it best for me to get away from her due to the tension. I packed up some clothes and told my husband that I was going to a hotel until she left. We fought and then he said that he would tell her that she would have to go to a hotel. I then went into my office and then my husband came in and told me to pack my bags. He cut off the credit card and drove me to a Motel. I do not have a car and the majority of my clothes are at his house. The house, car and the bank accounts are in his name. I was a housewife and have no income. I live in a rural part of Georgia and have no transportation. What are my rights? I am living off my credit card that has a low available credit and will run out soon. I have to charge the Motel and food.
