I have had a Revocation Hearing scheduled for some time now that I was allowed to push to later dates so I could actively fight the charges with my Attorney I had retained for them. The charges are that of Prohibited Acts and Drug fraud related charges. I was unfortunately a victim of Identity theft and after several years of fighting the charges, have finally gotten them dismissed as of late September. Even though they are dismissed, the Revocation that came about from those charges is still standing and I’m in need of assistance in fixing this. My private attorney I had for the charges has advised Mr. Larue stating he is the Public Defender for Revocation Hearings. At your earliest convenience, please get back to me either by email at email@example.com or phone at 337-450-9111. My name is Rebecca Lormand.
Thank you kindly!
A criminal defense lawyer is a lawyer (mostly barristers) specializing in the defense of individuals and companies charged with criminal activity. Some criminal defense lawyers are privately retained, while others are employed by the various jurisdictions with criminal courts for appointment to represent indigent persons; the latter are generally called public defenders. The terminology is imprecise because each jurisdiction may have different practices with various levels of input from state and federal law or consent decrees. Some jurisdictions use a rotating system of appointments with judges appointing a private practice attorney or firm for each case. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_defense_lawyer
