Drugs were obtained before a search warrant was ever in place. The officers were there to inquire about a suspicious vehicle in the area. The drugs were spotted on the ground somewhere an I was charged with possession of a controlled substance over 4g but under 200g. When the search was conducted no evidence was found linking me to the drugs. The car and I were both clean. There was other people on the property and had been before I arrived. I had just arrived right before the officers. I had no knowledge of any drugs moreless knowledge of them being used. No one else was charged with anything no other searches were performed I was arrested all by myself. My car was impounded and my friend had to come get my dog. This was all pinned on me bc I was at the wrong place wrong time and I was the only only one outside at the time the drugs were found so it only seemed logical I was the guilty party. In 100% innocent. I know we have a case that could have evidence surpressd or even better charged dropped or case dismissed. The prosector can not prove without a doubt I had knowledge of those drugs. They have no other evidence linking the drugs to me. Those were not my drugs I did not have an kind of knowledge that they were on that property. I would fight my own case but I'm not exactly sure I have every aspect of my defense covered plus I know without a doubt if I tried to take this felony charge on by myself the prosecution would have me for lunch chew me up spit me up then feed me to the birds. I would end up with the max sentencing. I refuse to do one second in another prison cell. I'm undoubtably innocent to the charges held against me. I just need an Attorney to stand and represent me.
A criminal defense lawyer is a lawyer (mostly barristers) specializing in the defense of individuals and companies charged with criminal activity. Some criminal defense lawyers are privately retained, while others are employed by the various jurisdictions with criminal courts for appointment to represent indigent persons; the latter are generally called public defenders. The terminology is imprecise because each jurisdiction may have different practices with various levels of input from state and federal law or consent decrees. Some jurisdictions use a rotating system of appointments with judges appointing a private practice attorney or firm for each case. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_defense_lawyer
