Hi i'm needing some advise, i'm not sure what kind of lawyer to look for so hopefully u can help me figure out the direction needing to go.. ok so my mom passed away on the 5th of oct. 2019 from pancreatic cancer. i know that when it comes to pancreatic cancer it doesn't take very long.so my question is:while my mom was at the mortuary and we were make preparations for her funeral, without anyone's knowledge her husband was filling out her life insurance papers signing himself as the beneficiary. We did not find a will in the house (which is odd because she wrote Everything down), she has 5 of us kids, and he is no where to be found, she was fine the night before she died, he waited to call an ambulance or to contact any of her kids or relatives until after the fact, there was a pic taken of her right after her death were it she has one eye open and bloodshot. i'm not a dr. and i don't want to make false accusations..but he has been married before where his wife/wifes died in his arms.. i don't know if he has already been payed her insurance or not but one thing for sure is that know she didn't trust him, and i know she wouldn't have left all her money to him. what do i do? where do i start?what kind of lawyer should i be looking for? thank you

Hello Shanta, thank you for your question related to wills and trust and probate law attorneys. Just remember, that if you buy a life insurance policy with community funds (your wages) then it belongs to both you and your spouse...what to do, when Life Insurance Is Part of an Estate and does a will override life insurance beneficiaries?
