Myself and other investors invested in a Delaware company, which was supposed to hold rights in a property in Virginia and pay rental income until it is sold as a part of a RIT portfolio.
After a few months we stopped receiving the rent and we learned that the RIT owner transfer his ownership part to a third party and that our rights in the Delaware company were never registered. We also learned that our subscription agreement to the Delaware company has some serious faults as it is drafted as if it is related to a partnership rather then a company.
Now we need a litigation lawyer in Delaware that can guide us as to the available legal vehicles we can use. We prefer a lawyer who is reasonably or even cheap for this matter.
