Surabian, as personal representative for my father's estate, sold his house within 7 months of his passing, for $390,000 despite numerous market valuations in the range of $500,000 to $518,000 (Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, etc). Allowing for deferred maintenance (probably needs $25,000 in paint and repairs), selling the property below the tax assessed value of $422,000 was a gross injustice to the heirs.
