Greenbelt / Maryland Attorneys & law firms / Real estate attorneys
I was abused and yelled at by their attorney with implications of racial slurs. If I had responded in kind, it could have become an incredibly volatile situation He seemed to feel it was ok to yell, insult, interrupt and verbally assault a client. My dignity and humanity was brutally violated. And the reason he became so irate was because he overheard me telling the Maryland tax office that he was being uncooperative and not helpful, which was absolutely true. Instead of trying to assist me, he became abusive. Not once did I yell back. He was rude, unprofessional, screamed at me while I was on the phone with my real estate agent. On top of that, his accounting was incorrect and I had to go over the documents with a fine tooth comb or I would have lost money due to his inaccuracy. It was all I could do to not walk out and yell back at him but as a mature adult I needed to complete the process. I had to deal with him like a child having a tantrum to get through it despite the inexcusable and appalling assault on my dignity. The abuse was unacceptable and the clear evidence of racial discrimination and prejudice is unconscionable. I would never use them again and highly urge potential customers to avoid them at all costs and find a different settlement company. I have purchased and sold over 6 homes in the past 20 years, not once have I encountered behavior so outrageous.
