California / Newbury Park Attorneys & law firms
I made a big mistake when I walked into Mr. Hultgren’s office and hired him for an estate matter; he provided terrible service. It is hard to imagine worse service, even for a lawyer. His bills were way too high (a Judge called them “exceedingly high”), he referred me to a CPA whose work had to be partially re-done, and he ignored my wishes leaving my family and I worse off than if my wishes had been followed, and him w/ much more money than he otherwise would have obtained.. He has numerous lawsuits on his record, including at least 1 malpractice claim, and very few lawyers have malpractice claims on their records. He is constantly changing the name of his practice. He used to be with Hultgren & Korneich but Dale Kornreich, his former “partner,” apparently does not wish to be publicly associated with Mr. Hultgren so he changed the name to Integrity Law. He, not surprisingly, then changed the name of his law practice to The Law Offices of Gregory Hultgren and he has several websites under his own name without “integrity” in it. He now promotes himself as having a “successful” law practice but if he did he would have lawyers working for him and a nice office instead of being a solo practitioner with a down-scale office that he shares with another lawyer; he probably barely squeaks by. I doubt a law firm would hire a lawyer with the lawsuits on his record, so he is dependent on naïve clients. Why hire a lawyer whose former “partner” is no longer “associated” w/ him, has been sued for malpractice and constantly changes his business name?
Before hiring him, check his errors & omissions insurance because he may have insufficient, if any, insurance when combined w/ his personal assets to pay you should you sue him. State Bar rules require that he disclose whether he has E & O insurance. Check-out the Ventura
County Bar Association membership directory, martindale.com or other sources for other lawyers before hiring him and you may save yourself alot of money and trouble.
