- 100% FreeAttorney may refer to lawyer, as a general synonym (u.k; u.s), attorney-at-law or attorney-in-fact. Notice: In most law jurisdictions, the attorney general is the main legal advisor to (in relationship) the government. Lawyers also appear as: advocate, barrister, counselor or solicitor or, occasionally, as chartered legal executive. Each US state jurisdiction sets its own rules for bar admission, which can lead to different admission standards for lawyers among states. A law firm - as opposed to single lawyers - is a business entity formed by one or more lawyers to engage in the practice of law.

He told me, "The most important thing to me is getting paid," and I believe that now. He was too passive on my case(s). If you question his actions or strategy, He will quickly remind you of what you are being accused of, to make you back off. We had a plan, I showed up to every court date for over a year, during that time I was told the same thing over and over. I completed extra curricular classes (10 weeks) + personal counseling all on my own initiative and dime. I found out later they were not seen by the Assist. DA until we mentioned it again a year after completion(???). When the plan (Assist DA dismissing the case rather than going to trial) did not go as planned, He absolutely "Freaked Out" on me. The Assist DA called the bluff, stated they were ready to go trial. Charlie told me straight up to just "Plead Guilty to the Class A Misdemeanor," because I was "lucky" to have the other charge dropped. (???) I had to make a decision right then and there, because there were no more extensions and they wanted to go to trial that day. I asked him after all this time, if he was prepared to go to trial and he said Yes, but Did Not Act Like It at All. I did what I should of done a long time ago, I FIRED Him. No Refund on the Attorney Fee I Paid in Full to fight the case. I was assigned a Court Appointed Attorney because my money was gone. Another 8 months, with a competent Attorney (communication and a better executed plan), the case was Dismissed. He might have good reviews for DWI, but take in consideration for more serious cases that need aggressive, no-nonsense, professional litigation for yourself or others. This was the 1st time I have ever been charged for anything in my life. (You would think 1st time offender would come up in the negotiations? (None what so ever) Now, I know how the system works and how important a good attorney is and how a bad attorney can make everything worse. If you think You have been charged unjustly and you are willing to fight for your rights, to be heard and judged accordingly, don't EVER allow Anyone to tell you to give up and lay down, even an Attorney that is supposed to be on your side, fighting for your case, that you have already Paid in Full.
