He is a public lawyer who will hide the truth from you from the beginning till the end. I was told after 15 continuations, that is 15 different times I showed up and he did not to the court room, or showed up at the very last minute, to ask for another continuation from the judge, that he would speak to the DA and I would only get a minor offense. That conversation at least from what I can tell never happened.
I was a first time offender, never had a record before, and was very concerned about my background checks as I am professional engineer. He promised me all through out the hearings and that was over a year, that I would get off with a misdemeanor and possibly no community service. I was told this all the way up to the last court hearing, which this time the DA finally showed up.
He explained to me that because I was a white collar worker, who cheated on his UE, which in honesty, I was overpaid by the U>E, that the DA was targeting and making me an example of stealing from the poor. This was his excuse for my final charge, that not only has affected my employment, but also my career. I received Judgement deferred along with 2.5 years of community service. That was in 2015. I will stand behind what I wrote and if this review will get noticed by more than me that is good enough. I have nothing more to loose since my life was taken from me.
