Hello. I don't know if this is something you can help me with. I guess i just dont know where to start. I hired a contractor to deliver and install 2 doors i bought at home depot. While installing he destroyed the surrounding trim, base boards, frames and the doors them selves. It looks like he just took a hammer to our house and left. The doors are literally falling off the wall. He also dropped one of the doors and when it fell, he damaged our refrigerator, dinning table and 2 chairs. When we brought it all to his attention, he said he will be back to fix everything and install the doors properly.. thats when he stopped taking our calls and communication all together. We had to hire another contractor to fix everything. Do we have a case against this guy? Could you please point me in the right direction to a legal solution.? Thank you
- Thank you for getting in touch! The right consumer law attorney can help you with your case. Take a look at Wichita Falls agents - Texas.
- What you need to know about warranty laws? You have more rights than you might think...
- If you have a dispute with a business, you can file a consumer complaint with the Office of the Attorney General. Your information will be reviewed by a compliance specialist. This office (TDLR) does not take action on every single complaint it receives.
- Many consumers are under the impression that they have a 3-day right to cancel any and all consumer purchases. However, this is not true. The right to cancel law applies only to very specific situations.
